Two crews can quote the same floor and hand back two completely different results. A lot of that gap comes down to what shows up on the trailer. Here's what we run, why we bought it, and what it means for your floor.
A floor is a physics problem first
Polished concrete looks like a design choice, but getting there is mechanical. Flatness, how evenly the aggregate comes through, how well the densifier soaks in, how deep the shine goes — all of it traces back to the machine, the diamonds, and the person running them.
Better equipment doesn't make a good crew. It lets a good crew spend its time on the finish instead of fighting the grinder.
Our flagship: the WORX+ GK700
The WORX+ GK700 from the King Series is the newest machine in our fleet and the one most likely to show up on your slab. It's a remote-control planetary grinder with autopilot capability. The operator stands off the machine and runs it by radio, which means tighter, more consistent passes and no fatigue over a long day.
Autopilot handles the repetitive runs across open floor so we can stay focused on what really decides the finish: pad pressure, grit progression, and the edges.

Electric, exhaust-free, and quieter
Our grinders are electric. No propane, no exhaust. On indoor jobs — warehouses, dealerships, occupied buildings — that's a real difference for the people working around us, and for us.
Dust extraction is not optional
Every grinder we run is tied into an industrial vacuum the whole time. On the Cougar Companies job we took close to 10,000 pounds of concrete off the surface across two floors, and all of it went into the extraction instead of into the air. Clean rafters, clean racking, clean HVAC.

The rest of the fleet
- Husqvarna PG 820 RC. The machine that built Surface Masters. Still our workhorse on wide-open commercial floors.
- Husqvarna PG 680 RC. Smaller footprint for residential garages and tight interiors, with the same finish as the big rigs.
- RedArt CNC. The machine that cuts logos and artwork directly into the slab. It mounts over the floor and mills straight from your brand file. It's what we used on the 24-foot Cougar Companies logo.

We measure the shine
"Shiny" is a feeling. Gloss is a number. We carry a gloss meter and check the floor as we go, so we know where we stand instead of guessing. On the Cougar Companies floor we were consistently reading in the 80s, pushing close to 90 at 1,500-grit.
What it means for you
- A more even finish. Consistent passes mean consistent aggregate and consistent shine, wall to wall.
- A shorter schedule. Faster removal and fewer wasted passes. The Cougar first floor went from raw slab to finished polish in seven days.
- A cleaner job site. Electric machines and full dust extraction.
- More time on the details. Every hour the machine saves on the heavy work goes into edges, grout, and densifier.
